Third Party Electricity Supply
NOTICE TO BIDDERS: THE BID DATE HAS CHANGED, BIDS ARE NOW DUE ON THURSDAY MAY 21ST AT 1:00PM (EASTERN)
Introduction
Aquarion Water Company of Connecticut ("AWC") is soliciting proposals from Connecticut qualified licensed suppliers to provide electricity to AWC. The successful bidder will supply electricity to all or some of AWC’s accounts in Connecticut pursuant to contract terms to be agreed upon between AWC and the selected bidder. AWC is seeking pricing for one-year terms for 2010 and 2011, and also for a two-year term for 2010–2011. Bidders may elect to provide pricing for both one-year terms, for either one-year term, and/or for the combined two year terms of service. AWC may select either or both one-year terms or the two-year term, at its sole discretion.
Bidders may elect to submit bids for either all of AWC’s accounts or for 35 of AWC’s largest accounts, which comprise more than 80% of AWC’s total electricity usage.
This Request for Proposals ("RFP") is not a binding offer to contract. AWC reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to discontinue or modify this RFP at any time.
Levitan & Associates, Inc. ("Consultant") is advising AWC on this RFP and is not acting as agent or broker for AWC.
